Itinerary
Welcome to Cairo, the bustling capital of Egypt and gateway to the
ancient world. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be
greeted by our representative who will assist you with immigration,
luggage, and customs formalities. Enjoy a comfortable private transfer
to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your flight.
Overnight in Cairo
Pick-up & Meeting Point
Our representative meets you at Cairo International Airport arrivals hall with a name sign and assists with visa, passport control, luggage, and private transfer to your Cairo hotel. Daily Cairo tour pickups are from your hotel lobby at confirmed times. On the morning of Day 3 (Desert departure day), our driver picks you up directly from your Cairo hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for the 4-hour drive to Bahariya Oasis. Upon arrival in Bahariya, your Bedouin desert guide and 4x4 jeep team take over for the desert adventure. Camping equipment, meals, and drinking water in the desert are fully provided. On Day 5, after returning from the White Desert to Bahariya, our driver picks you up for the drive back to Cairo. Please note that desert routes may vary based on weather and road conditions. On Day 6, our team transfers you to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
Before you book
• The desert journey (Days 3–5) involves 4x4 off-road driving, overnight camping in tents with sleeping bags and blankets provided. This is a moderate adventure activity suitable for healthy adults.
• The White Desert camping is at altitude in the open desert. Temperatures can drop significantly at night even in summer — a light jacket or sweater is recommended even if the days are hot.
• Drinking water is provided throughout the desert trip. Sunscreen (SPF 50+), a hat, sunglasses, and dust-resistant clothing are strongly recommended.
• The Nile Cruise is NOT part of this tour. This program focuses on Cairo and the Western Desert experience.
• Egypt Tourist Visa not included. Obtain on arrival at Cairo Airport for USD $25, or apply via e-Visa online.
• Campsites in the White Desert are basic but magical. There are no electricity hookups or running water at the camping site. Toilet facilities are basic outdoor arrangements.
• The desert itinerary may be adjusted by the Bedouin guide based on weather, road accessibility, or safety considerations. Your guide has the authority to make changes for your safety.
• Prices for this tour are per person based on group size: 2 persons, 4–6 persons, and 7–10 persons. Larger groups receive better rates.
