Itinerary
Day 1 · Arrive in Cairo
Met at the airport and taken to your hotel.
Day 2 · The pyramids
Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum with your guide.
Day 3 · To the Bahariya Oasis
A morning drive west to Bahariya. Afternoon in the palm groves, a hot spring and the view from English Mountain.
Day 4 · Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and the White Desert
By 4x4 across the volcanic Black Desert, the quartz ridge of the Crystal Mountain and the Agabat valley, arriving among the white chalk shapes for sunset, dinner by the fire and a night in camp.
Day 5 · Back to Cairo
Sunrise in the desert, then the drive back to Cairo in time for an evening flight.
Pick-up & Meeting Point
Airport pickup in Cairo is included. Desert transfers leave from your Cairo hotel early on day 3.

Desert nights
Winter nights in the desert can drop close to freezing. We provide sleeping bags and blankets; bring a warm jacket and a hat.
Visas
Most nationalities can get an Egypt visa online in advance or on arrival at the airport. Tell us your nationality and we will confirm what you need.
